- The Department of Education and Culture (DEC) has began registration for persons interested in evening courses leading to a certificate in Secondary Education (SE) and courses in Technical Job Preparation (TJP).
      The technical courses include sewing, auto mechanics, auto body repair, machine shop practice and also the following maintenance related courses carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electricity.
      The tuition fees for these courses are as follows:
     § 1 course $100.00
     § 2 courses 160.00
     § 3 courses 240.00
     § 4 courses 280.00
     Interested adults will pay a fee of $500 for the alternate secondary education programme. Classes for this programme will commence on Monday, October 1. For the technical courses classes will begin on Monday, October 1
     
     Application forms and full descriptions of these courses are available at the Department of Education and Culture, the Security and Help Desks in the Central Administration Building, and at the Student Services Centre on the second level of the Cutlass Building.
