     ‘I come to the British Virgin Islands to reclaim some part of myself from the rest of the world. Every day I wake up here, I am amazed by the great privilege of living around these islands. There are places here to fill the soul. They make you feel connected again.
     
     Like so many people in these islands, I live near the border of a national park. That this land has been saved, like other reserves here, is an extraordinary gift. There is something fragile about all these places, something so easily lost.
     
     
     As a Governor, I am grateful for the opportunity to help preserve and expand the great natural resources of the British Virgin Islands.
