A tribute to Shirley Ann White.....A lesson in loving 1929-2001
For 20 years, Shirley Ann White, 'Baba', visited St.Thomas.
She loved the spirit of the Carnival.
On her last visit to St.Thomas, she enjoyed a wonderful night of Jazz at Blackbeard's Castle, accompanied by Sandy and a close Family friend. It was a Magnificent evening for Baba. She was savouring the music of some of the musicians she loved .She tapped her fingers, moved her feet, and sang the words with delight. Only one ingredient was missing - Her loving and ever present Companion - John White(Who had passed away)
She loved life. She knew how to love. Her grand daughter tells how.
