CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S.V.I. (May 5, 2003) - Sprint (NYSE: FON/PCS) which operates the nation's largest all-digital, all-PCS nationwide network, recently celebrated the opening of the new PCS Center in Charlotte Amalie, located at 9003 Havensight Shopping Center, Suite 304. The 250-square-foot store is staffed by four experienced sales professionals who can assist and educate customers during their shopping experience.

"We consider this new location ideal to meeting the St. Thomas-area customer demand," said Gabriel Torres, General Manager of Sprint's wireless division in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. "Customers visiting the Havensight Mall store will benefit from exceptional service and enhanced personal attention."
The grand opening celebration was held at the new PCS Center on Thursday, May 8 at 11 a.m. Local dignitaries joined Sprint in ceremoniously cutting a ribbon to commemorate the store's opening. Refreshments, music and giveaways were available to customers who visited the store during the celebration.

Additionally, store personnel demonstrated Sprint's Picture Mail application which involves taking a digital picture with a Sprint wireless phone and then sharing the picture instantly with friends and family via e-mail or to another PCS Vision phone. Sprint offers customers the Sanyo 8100, with a built-in camera phone, for $119 after a mail-in rebate, flat-rate data pricing, an intuitive way to share pictures, an online album at no additional charge, attachable voice memo and the ability to wirelessly share pictures with more people in more places

PCS Center Store Manager Joey Abella said "Sprint is the only wireless carrier in the USVI to offer advanced wireless services such as PCS Vision and Picture Mail--which allows PCS customers to instantly share life's everyday moments in a whole new way."
PCS Vision from Sprint includes services that allow customers to take and receive pictures from select PCS Phones; browse the Internet at speeds faster than most dial-up connections; check personal and corporate e-mail; watch clips and stream audio for news and music; download polyphonic, animated and voice ringers, and full-color, graphically-rich games and screen savers, all on the enhanced Nationwide PCS Network.

To celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Sprint Store in Charlotte Amalie, and for a limited time, customers can save up to $100 instantly on select PCS phones, including the Sanyo 8100 (pictured), with in-store activation on a new line of service. Plus, customers will receive a $50 PCS service credit. Certain restrictions apply.
